Jeep Grand Cherokee’s robust Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) with its Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM) partners with an antilock brake system (ABS) and Brake Assist, to help you safely reach your destination. When the system’s sensors detect that you’re veering off your intended path, this comprehensive network automatically takes instantaneous action to help keep you moving safely forward. Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Hill Descent Control (HDC) are new standard features that employ automatic braking to help get you safely up and down the mountain. The Front and Rear Park Assist System helps make sure you back out of your parking space securely.

All Grand Cherokee models feature standard advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags and the Side Occupant Protection System with standard front and rear side-curtain air bags, which provide additional protection to outboard occupants in the event of a collision or rollover. The body components of the Grand Cherokee combine to form a structural safety cage and provide outstanding occupant protection in the event of an impact.

Light up the night. New High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps with autoleveling improve night time visibility by casting a brighter halo of light that’s consistently level, no matter how heavy your load.

A Thatcham Category 1 alarm and immobilizer is standard on all Grand Cherokee models. Furthermore, every Grand Cherokee key now comes with a small embedded chip that, when inserted into the ignition connects with the engine and allows it to start. If no connection is made, or another key is inserted, your vehicle won’t start.
