Patriot offers a rare combination of practicality, capability and accessibility. Patriot's Freedom-Drive ITM active full-time four-wheel drive (4WD) with LOCK mode gives drivers year-round assurance with its ability to handle driving in rain and snow. When in 4WD LOCK mode, it can handle deeper snow, sand and other low-traction surfaces. The Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) applies selective braking to help control over- and under-steering. You can turn off the traction control portion of ESP when navigating through more challenging off-road conditions.

| Transmissions
6-speed manual tranmission is offered on the 2.0 CRD Sport Diesel Manual and the 2.0 CRD Limited Diesel Manual. The innovative Continuously Variable Automatic Transaxle (CVT2) with AutoStick® comes standard on the Limited CVT (available with a special order in local market).

Patriot also features unique shock tuning and high-strength steel springs for capable handling on mountain switchbacks and evasive maneuvers. Parallel parking is made easy thanks to Patriot's standard rack and pinion steering.
